Meet and greet: Players and the new coach
Moonee Valley players got the chance to meet new coach Shak Prasad on a Pleasant Sunday Afternoon at the Ascot Vale Hotel and tap his thoughts on coaching and training for the upcoming season.
The players socialised with Shak at the August 9 event — just two days after he jetted in from New Zealand.
Shak has already had a look at Ormond Park and has firm plans on the pre-season training requirements.
He was introduced to players by President Mark Gauci and other committee members.
Shak holds a Level 3 ICC coaching qualification and Level 1 and 2 Australian coaching certificates. As well as coaching our senior teams, he is keen to have a close involvement with our junior program.
