Another milestone for our Sandra
Sandra Verschoor has become just the fourth player in our women’s program to notch up 50 games.
The milestone comes just a week after Sandra became Moonee Valley’s first woman player to reach 1000 runs.
Sandra’s 50th game was in our last-gasp loss in the semi final on March 8.
Since we first fielded women’s teams in 2007, only current captain Sarah Fenn (72 games), Clare Ardern (53) and Tanya Intagliata (52) have brought up the 50 games. Sandra is a three-time Premiership player from her 50 games.
