Our Moonee Valley junior cricket program

Welcome to the Moonee Valley Cricket Club Juniors. Our club welcomes all junior cricketers, male and female, and all levels of ability.

In 2017-2018, we are fielding teams in NWMCA Friday night competitions in the following divisions:

U10 – one-two teams

U12 – Division 1 and Division 6

U14 – Divisions 2 and 4

Our U16 players play in the Colts team which competes in MCA D Grade on Sundays, gaining experience alongside senior players.

The club also conducts a Milo In2Cricket programme on a Tuesday afternoon for boys and girls new to cricket but not old enough for U10s.

TRAINING

All training is held at Ormond Park.

U10 – both teams train Monday night from 5pm-6pm

U12, U14 – all teams train Wednesday night from 5-6.15pm.

SUBSCRIPTIONS:

The subscription of $250 per player covers all costs of play, including insurance, ground fees and association fees, club equipment and umpires. Each junior player also receives a club shirt and cap included in the subscription price.

Discounts are provided for families and concession card holders.
