Moonee Valley visited the picturesque Hume & Hovell Oval at Strath Creek for a game against Kew on September 10.
Kew may have taken the points in a tight-fought 35-over match, but the real winner of the day was cricket - playing on a turf wicket on a ground of the same dimensions and slope as Lord's - the home of cricket.
